Bethany Barrington-Davis

My interest and passion for theatre and performance has been a part of my life from a very young age. I spent the majority of my childhood and teenage years performing and experiencing theatre.

I came to Middlesex with the intention of becoming a Special Education Needs teacher, specialising in Theatre and using drama techniques. However, I also wanted to learn more about design and technical jobs and from there, got into stage management and later lighting design.

While studying at Middlesex, I have been involved in a total of 18 productions, including Brave New Worlds’ Trinity, Chris Thrope’s Victory Condition (Royal Court) and Guillermo Calderón’s B (Royal Court).

In 2018, along with some of my peers at university, I founded Hands Down Theatre Company. This year I have also become Company Stage Manager and Production Manager for St Albans School of Acting.
